Privacy policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Oblivion collects, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: username, email address, and a hashed (never plain-text) password.
- Order data: what you purchased, order timestamps, and warranty claim history.
- Payment data: we don't store full card numbers. Card and PayPal payments are processed by our payment processor, and cryptocurrency payments are recorded on the relevant public blockchain. We store only the transaction reference and amount.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic session cookies needed to keep you logged in.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and keep you logged in between visits.
- To process orders, deliver purchased credentials, and handle warranty claims.
- To detect fraud, chargebacks, and abuse of the checkout system.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It's required for the site to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Data sharing
We share information only with:
- Payment processors, to complete card and PayPal transactions.
- Service providers who host our servers and database, under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement, only when required by valid legal process.
5. Data retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy tax, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account as described below.
6. Your choices
- Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: you can update your email or username from your account settings.
- Deletion: you can request we delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we're required to keep for legal or tax reasons.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@oblivion.example.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed with a salted algorithm before storage; we never store passwords in plain text. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic between your browser and our servers.
8. Children's privacy
Oblivion is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
